.22 LR caliber semi-automatic pistol, with 10-shot magazine. 4.5' and 5.5' slab-sided barrels with ventilated or solid ribs. Adjustable sights are integral with rib. Blue finish, barrel tapped for weight, checkered walnut thumbrest grips. Stippled front and backstraps on frame. Early ventilated ribs were steel; aluminum replaced steel on later ventilated ribs. Still later a clearance groove was added for spent shell ejection behind barrel. Early models marked THE VICTOR on left side of barrel; later guns marked simply VICTOR on left side of frame. Few transition guns marked in both locations. NOTE: Add $125 premium for steel ribs; $125 premium for solid rib guns, premium for 4.5' barreled guns; $140 premium for Hamden guns (7-digit serial numbers and ML prefix serial numbers below ML 25,000); 12 percent premium for box with papers.
